In preparation for the winter storm this weekend, the City is preparing to open the Civic Center if Bevil Oaks loses electricity as a safe and warm place for residents. If you do not have a generator at your home and would like to go to the Civic Center to stay warm, it will be available until the electricity comes back on.
The City will provide bottle drinking water, but you will need to bring your own food.
Please spread the word to residents in Bevil Oaks that may not get the notifications that are sent out.
A CALL OUT WILL BE SENT WHEN THE CITY OPENS THE CIVIC CENTER.
